Imagine if some of the miners, after all the work that had been done for them, had decided they DIDN'T WANT TO BE RESCUED and walked back into the darkness of the mineshaft, away from the capsule which had been made to bring them to safety and celebration

God came down - into the darkness of the world, where many people live without hope. God provided a way out and his name is Jesus. When we are ’in’ Jesus we are being saved. The rescue of the Chilean Miners is a modern parable that illustrates this truth.
