"Say of your brothers, 'My people,' and of your sisters, 'My loved one.'

Israel Punished and Restored
"Rebuke your mother, rebuke her, 2 for she is not my wife, 2 and I am not her husband. 2 Let her remove the adulterous look from her face 2 and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.
Otherwise I will strip her naked 3 and make her as bare as on the day she was born; 3 I will make her like a desert, 3 turn her into a parched land, 3 and slay her with thirst.
I will not show my love to her children, 4 because they are the children of adultery.
Their mother has been unfaithful 5 and has conceived them in disgrace. 5 She said, 'I will go after my lovers, 5 who give me my food and my water, 5 my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.'
Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes; 6 I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way.
She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; 7 she will look for them but not find them. 7 Then she will say, 7 'I will go back to my husband as at first, 7 for then I was better off than now.'
She has not acknowledged that I was the one 8 who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, 8 who lavished on her the silver and gold— 8 which they used for Baal.
"Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, 9 and my new wine when it is ready. 9 I will take back my wool and my linen, 9 intended to cover her nakedness.
So now I will expose her lewdness 10 before the eyes of her lovers; 10 no one will take her out of my hands.
