Isaiah 38
Surely it was for my benefit 17 that I suffered such anguish. 17 In your love you kept me 17 from the pit of destruction; 17 you have put all my sins 17 behind your back.
For the grave[a] cannot praise you, 18 death cannot sing your praise; 18 those who go down to the pit 18 cannot hope for your faithfulness.
The living, the living—they praise you, 19 as I am doing today; 19 fathers tell their children 19 about your faithfulness.
The Lord will save me, 20 and we will sing with stringed instruments 20 all the days of our lives 20 in the temple of the Lord.
