Translation:

Isaiah 43

18 "Forget the former things; 18 do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing! 19 Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? 19 I am making a way in the desert 19 and streams in the wasteland.

20 The wild animals honor me, 20 the jackals and the owls, 20 because I provide water in the desert 20 and streams in the wasteland, 20 to give drink to my people, my chosen, 21 the people I formed for myself 21 that they may proclaim my praise.

22 "Yet you have not called upon me, O Jacob, 22 you have not wearied yourselves for me, O Israel.

23 You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings, 23 nor honored me with your sacrifices. 23 I have not burdened you with grain offerings 23 nor wearied you with demands for incense.

24 You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me, 24 or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices. 24 But you have burdened me with your sins 24 and wearied me with your offenses.

25 "I, even I, am he who blots out 25 your transgressions, for my own sake, 25 and remembers your sins no more.
