10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; 10 be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear 11 and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry 12 and you be destroyed in your way, 12 for his wrath can flare up in a moment. 12 Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
1 1 1 A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.
1 O Lord, how many are my foes! 1 How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me, 2 "God will not deliver him." Selah[a]
3 But you are a shield around me, O Lord; 3 you bestow glory on me and lift[b] / my Glorious One, who lifts up my head.
4 To the Lord I cry aloud, 4 and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah
5 I lie down and sleep; 5 I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear the tens of thousands 6 drawn up against me on every side.
7 Arise, O Lord! 7 Deliver me, O my God! 7 Strike all my enemies on the jaw; 7 break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the Lord comes deliverance. 8 May your blessing be on your people. Selah
