¹⁷ Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, ¹⁷ for I have cried out to you; ¹⁷ but let the wicked be put to shame ¹⁷ and lie silent in the grave.^[a]

¹⁸ Let their lying lips be silenced, ¹⁸ for with pride and contempt ¹⁸ they speak arrogantly against the righteous.

¹⁹ How great is your goodness, ¹⁹ which you have stored up for those who fear you, ¹⁹ which you bestow in the sight of men ¹⁹ on those who take refuge in you.
