Psalms 34

[a]

1 1 Of David. When he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he left.

I will extol the Lord at all times; 1 his praise will always be on my lips.

My soul will boast in the Lord; 2 let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the Lord with me; 3 let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me; 4 he delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to him are radiant; 5 their faces are never covered with shame.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; 6 he saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, 7 and he delivers them.
