5 Who is this coming up from the desert 5 leaning on her lover? 6 Beloved 6 Under the apple tree I roused you; 6 there your mother conceived you, 6 there she who was in labor gave you birth.
6 Place me like a seal over your heart, 6 like a seal on your arm; 6 for love is as strong as death, 6 its jealousy[a] unyielding as the grave.[b] 6 It burns like blazing fire, 6 like a mighty flame.[c]
