1 The destruction of the sanctuary
1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, 1 Smite the [a]lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: 1 And Ps. 68:21;Hab. 3:13[b]cut them in the head, all of them; 1 And I will slay the last of them with the sword: 1 ch. 2:14He that fleeth of them shall not flee away, 1 And he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
2 Ps. 139:8Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; 2 Jer. 51:53Though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, 3 I will search and take them out thence; 3 And though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, 3 Thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, 4 Lev. 26:33Thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: 4 And Lev. 17:10I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

6 It is he that buildeth his Ps. 104:3[c][d]stories in the heaven, 6 And hath founded his [e]troop in the earth; 6 He that ch. 5:8calleth for the waters of the sea, 6 And poureth them out upon the face of the earth: 6 ch. 4:13The Lord is his name.
7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. 7 Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? 7 And the Jer. 47:4Philistines from Deut. 2:23;Jer. 47:4Caphtor, and the Syrians from ch. 1:5Kir?
8 Behold, ver. 4the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, 8 And I Jer. 30:11;Obad. 16,17will destroy it from off the face of the earth; 8 Saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.
9 For lo, I will command, and I will [f]sift the house of Israel among all nations, 9 Like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least [g]grain fall upon the earth.
10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, 10 ch. 6:3Which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
11 Israel's fortunes to be restored
11 Acts 15:16In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, 11 And [h]close up the breaches thereof; 11 And I will raise up his ruins, 11 And I will build it as in the days of old:

14 Jer. 30:3And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, 14 And Is. 61:4they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; 14 And they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; 14 They shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 And I will plant them upon their land, 15 And Ezek. 34:28they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, 15 Saith the Lord thy God.
