Isaiah 12

1 Thanksgiving for God's salvation

1 And ch. 2:11in that day thou shalt say, 1Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, 1 Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

2 Behold, God is my salvation; 2 I will trust, and not be afraid: 2 For the Lord Ps. 83:18JEHOVAH is my Ex. 15:2;Ps. 118:14strength and my song; 2 He also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw John 4:10water out of the wells of salvation.

4 And in that day shall ye say, 4 1 Chr. 16:8;Ps. 105:1Praise the Lord, [a]call upon his name, 4 Ps. 145:4-6Declare his doings among the people, 4 Make mention that his Ps. 34:3name is exalted.

5 Ex. 15:1;Ps. 98:1Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: 5 This is known in all the earth.

6 Zeph. 3:14Cry out and shout, thou [b]inhabitant of Zion: 6 For great is Ps. 89:18the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
