1 The coming day of the Lord
1 For behold, Joel 2:31;2 Pet. 3:7the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; 1 And all ch. 3:18the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be Obad. 18stubble: 1 And the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, 1 That it shall Amos 2:9leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that ch. 3:16fear my name shall the Luke 1:78;Eph. 5:14;Rev. 2:28Sun of righteousness arise 2 With healing in his wings; 2 And ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 Mic. 7:10And ye shall tread down the wicked; 3 For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet 3 In the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Remember ye the Ex. 20:3law of Moses my servant, 4 Which I commanded unto him Deut. 4:10in Horeb for all Israel, 4 With Ps. 147:19the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Mat. 11:14;Luke 1:17Elijah the prophet 5 Joel 2:31Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, 6 And the heart of the children to their fathers, 6 Lest I come and Zech. 14:12smite the earth with Zech. 5:3a curse.
