Be not thou Ps. 37:1;& 73:3;ch. 3:31envious against evil men, 1 Neither desire to be with them.

For their heart studieth destruction, 2 And their lips talk of mischief.

And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled 4 With all precious and pleasant riches.

ch. 21:22A wise man [a]is strong; 5 Yea, a man of knowledge [b]increaseth strength.

Luke 14:31For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: 6 And in multitude of counsellers there is safety.

Ps. 10:5Wisdom is too high for a fool: 7 He openeth not his mouth in the gate.

He that Rom. 1:30deviseth to do evil 8 Shall be called a mischievous person.

The thought of foolishness is sin: 9 And the scorner is an abomination to men.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, 10 Thy strength is [c]small.

Ps. 82:4;Is. 58:6,7;1 John 3:16If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, 11 And those that are ready to be slain;

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; 12 Doth not ch. 21:2he that pondereth the heart consider it? 12 And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? 12 And shall not he render to every man Ps. 62:12according to his works?

My son, Sol. 5:1eat thou honey, because it is good; 13 And the honeycomb, which is sweet [d]to thy taste:

Ps. 19:10So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: 14 When thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, 14 And thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; 15 Spoil not his resting place:

Ps. 34:19;Mic. 7:8For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: 16 Esth. 7:10;Amos 5:2But the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Job 31:29;Obad. 12Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, 17 And let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

Lest the Lord see it, and [e]it displease him, 18 And he turn away his wrath from him.

Ps. 37:1[f]Fret not thyself because of evil men, 19 Neither be thou envious at the wicked;

For there shall be no reward to the evil man; 20 The [g]candle of the wicked shall be put out.

My son, Rom. 13:7;1 Pet. 2:17fear thou the Lord and the king: 21 And meddle not with [h]them that are given to change:

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; 22 And who knoweth the ruin of them both?

Is. 5:23He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; 24 Him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, 25 And [i]a good blessing shall come upon them.

Every man shall kiss his lips 26 [j]That giveth a right answer.

1 Ki. 5:17Prepare thy work without, 27 And make it fit for thyself in the field; 27 And afterwards build thine house.

Eph. 4:25Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; 28 And deceive not with thy lips.

Mat. 5:39Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: 29 I will render to the man according to his work.

And lo, Gen. 3:18it was all grown over with thorns, 31 And nettles had covered the face thereof, 31 And the stone wall thereof was broken down.

ch. 6:9Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, 33 A little folding of the hands to sleep:
