1 Wisdom and folly contrasted
1 Wisdom hath Mat. 16:18;Eph. 2:20;1 Pet. 2:5builded her house, 1 She hath hewn out her seven pillars:
2 Mat. 22:4She hath killed [a]her beasts; ch. 23:30she hath mingled her wine; 2 She hath also furnished her table.
3 She hath Rom. 10:15sent forth her maidens: 3 ch. 8:1,2She crieth ver. 14upon the highest places of the city,
4 Ps. 19:7;ch. 6:32Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: 4 As for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
5 Sol. 5:1;Is. 55:1;John 6:27Come, eat of my bread, 5 And drink of the wine which I have mingled.
6 Forsake the foolish, and live; 6 And go in the way of understanding.
7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: 7 And he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
