¹ The way of the righteous

¹ Blessed Prov. 4:14is the man ¹ That walketh not in the counsel of the ^[a]ungodly, ¹ Nor standeth in the way of sinners, ¹ Ps. 26:4;Jer. 15:17Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

² But Ps. 119:35his delight is in the law of the Lord; ² Josh. 1:8;Ps. 119:1And in his law doth he meditate day and night.

³ And he shall be like a tree Jer. 17:8;Ezek. 47:12planted by the rivers of water, ³ That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; ³ His leaf also shall not ^[b]wither; ³ And whatsoever he doeth shall Gen. 39:3;Is. 3:10prosper.

⁴ The ungodly are not so: ⁴ But are Job 21:18;Is. 17:13like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

⁵ Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, ⁵ Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

⁶ For Ps. 37:18;2 Tim. 2:19the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: ⁶ But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
