1 The Lord a faithful God

1 A Psalm of David.

1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: 1 Ps. 119:46Before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

2 Ps. 28:2I will worship 1 Ki. 8:29;Ps. 5:7toward thy holy temple, 2 And praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: 2 For thou hast Is. 42:21magnified thy word above all thy name.

3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, 3 And strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

4 Ps. 102:15All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, 4 When they hear the words of thy mouth.

5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: 5 For great is the glory of the Lord.

6 Ps. 113:5,6;Is. 57:15Though the Lord be high, yet Prov. 3:34;Jas. 4:6;1 Pet. 5:5hath he respect unto the lowly: 6 But the proud he knoweth afar off.

7 Ps. 23:3,4Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: 7 Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, 7 And thy right hand shall save me.
