¹ A Psalm of David, 2 Sam. 15-18when he fled from Absalom his son.

² Many there be which say of my soul, ² Ps. 71:11There is no help for him in God. Selah.

³ But thou, O Lord, art Ps. 28:7a shield ^[a]for me; ³ My glory, and Ps. 27:6the lifter up of mine head.

⁴ I cried unto the Lord with my voice, ⁴ And Ps. 34:4he heard me out of his Ps. 2:6holy hill. Selah.
