¹ A plea for judgment

¹ Ps. 26:1Judge me, O God, and Ps. 35:1plead my cause against an ^[a]ungodly nation: ¹ O deliver me ^[b]from the deceitful and unjust man.

² For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? ² Ps. 42:9Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

³ Ps. 40:11;& 57:3O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; ³ Let them bring me unto Ps. 3:4thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

⁴ Then will I go unto the altar of God, ⁴ Unto God ^[c]my exceeding joy: ⁴ Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

⁵ Ps. 42:5,11Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? ⁵ Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, ⁵ Who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
