The Lamb on mount Zion
And I looked, and lo, ch. 5:6a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him ch. 7:4an hundred forty and four thousand, ch. 13:16having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
And I heard a voice from heaven, ch. 1:15as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of ch. 5:8harpers harping with their harps:
And ch. 5:9they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song ver. 1but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
These are they which were not defiled with women; 2 Cor. 11:2for they are virgins. These are they ch. 3:4which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These ch. 5:9[a]were redeemed from among men, Jas. 1:18being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
And Ps. 32:2;Zeph. 3:13in their mouth was found no guile: for Eph. 5:27;Jude 24they are without fault before the throne of God.
The angelic messages
And I saw another angel ch. 8:13fly in the midst of heaven, Eph. 3:9;Tit. 1:2having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, ch. 13:7and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice, ch. 11:18Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: Neh. 9:6;Ps. 33:6;& 124:8;& 146:5,6;Acts 14:15;& 17:24and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Is. 21:9;ch. 18:2Babylon is fallen, is fallen, Jer. 51:7;ch. 16:19;& 17:2,5;& 18:3,10that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, ch. 13:14If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same Ps. 75:8;Is. 51:17;Jer. 25:15shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is ch. 18:6poured out without mixture into ch. 16:19the cup of his indignation; and ch. 20:10he shall be tormented with ch. 19:20fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And Is. 34:10the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
ch. 13:10Here is the patience of the saints: ch. 12:17here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Eccl. 4:1,2Blessed are the dead 1 Cor. 15:18;1 Thes. 4:16which die in the Lord [b]from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, 2 Thes. 1:7;Heb. 4:9,10that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat Ezek. 1:26;Dan. 7:13like unto the Son of man, ch. 6:2having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And another angel ch. 16:17came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Joel 3:13;Mat. 13:39Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest Jer. 51:33;ch. 13:12of the earth is [c]ripe.
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out from the altar, ch. 16:8which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Joel 3:13Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into ch. 19:15the great winepress of the wrath of God.
And Is. 63:3;Lam. 1:15the winepress was trodden Heb. 13:12without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, ch. 19:14even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
