Psalms 102 - KJV

God's years and man's days

A Prayer [a]of the afflicted, Ps. 61:2when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the Lord.

Hear my prayer, O Lord, And let my cry Ps. 18:6come unto thee.

Ps. 69:17Hide not thy face from me In the day when I am in trouble; Ps. 71:2incline thine ear unto me: In the day when I call answer me speedily.

Jas. 4:14For my days are consumed [b]like smoke, And Job 30:30;Ps. 31:10my bones are burnt as a hearth.

My heart is smitten, and Ps. 37:2withered like grass; So that I forget to eat my bread.

By reason of the voice of my groaning Job 19:20my bones cleave to my [c]skin.

Job 30:29I am like Is. 34:11a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

I Ps. 77:4watch, and am as a sparrow Ps. 38:11alone upon the housetop.

Mine enemies reproach me all the day; And they that are Acts 26:11mad against me are Acts 23:12sworn against me.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, And Ps. 42:3mingled my drink with weeping,

Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: For Ps. 30:7thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

Eccl. 6:12My days are like a shadow that declineth; And Is. 40:6-8;Jas. 1:10I am withered like grass.

But Ps. 9:7thou, O Lord, shalt endure for ever; And Ps. 135:13thy remembrance unto all generations.

Thou shalt arise, and Is. 60:10have mercy upon Zion: For the time to favour her, yea, the Is. 40:2set time, is come.

For thy servants take pleasure in Ps. 79:1her stones, And favour the dust thereof.

So the heathen shall 1 Ki. 8:43fear the name of the Lord, And all the kings of the earth thy glory.

When the Lord shall build up Zion, Is. 60:1,2He shall appear in his glory.

Neh. 1:6He will regard the prayer of the destitute, And not despise their prayer.

This shall be Rom. 15:4written for the generation to come: And Ps. 22:31the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

For he hath Deut. 26:15looked down from the height of his sanctuary; From heaven did the Lord behold the earth;

Ps. 79:11To hear the groaning of the prisoner; To loose [d]those that are appointed to death;

To Ps. 22:22declare the name of the Lord in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem;

When the people are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.

He [e]weakened my strength in the way; He Job 21:21shortened my days.

Is. 38:10I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: Ps. 90:2Thy years are throughout all generations.

Heb. 1:10Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: And the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Is. 34:4They shall perish, but thou shalt [f]endure: Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

But Mal. 3:6;Heb. 13:8thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.

Ps. 69:36The children of thy servants shall continue, And their seed shall be established before thee.
