These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”[a]
a.Jude 1:15From the Jewish First Book of Enoch (approximately the first century b.c.)
Summary: Jesus came as a Savior during His first coming. Saving grace has been available since then. Apparently that grace will come to an end when Christ returns and His Judgment will kick in. This is the reason we must get the Word out to all the perishing souls
Summary: Everyone and every thing will be judged on the judgment day but there are some specific matters that the Lord may judge more critically. Here they are:
1- God will judge ungodly acts
2- God will judge ungodly words
Summary: I believe the life of Enoch is a type of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please note the characteristics of the man named Enoch. We will see there are several similarities with his day, time and life as compared with our day, time and lives.
