Summary: How can we be the church Jesus wants us to be?
1. Lift up the light of the Lord (vs. 21-22).
2. Tune in to God's truth (vs. 23-25).
3. Be willing to work with God (vs. 26-29).
4. Trust God to grow His Kingdom (vs. 30-32).
Summary: Many Christians settles at mediocrity of Christians life. Contented with the common activities that common Christians does but I thank God for the few that decided to be more than that. Christians that are decided to go extra mile.
Summary: To get a better understanding of what this story teaches, I am going to take this apple, cut it open, and take out the seeds. There are five seeds in my apple. Now, imagine that we planted these seeds and each grew into an apple tree. How many apples do you think each tree might grow/produce?
Summary: Spiritual droughts will happen. That is unavoidable. But what are the responsibilities of the Mature Christian towards the newer Christians? What are some things that a Mature Christians should do to help the newer Christians to grow in the faith?
Summary: We, like the disciples, are expected to bear fruit by spreading the seeds of faith-namely, the Good News of salvation-and nurture it as best we can. Then, we have to let God go to work. God will eventually reap the harvest and save those who hear His word
Summary: Have you ever seen a mustard seed? Look. See how tiny these seeds are? These are from the area where Jesus lived. They are the smallest seeds I have ever seen. A mustard seed is so small that if you were holding one in your hand and dropped it on the ground, you might not be able to find it.
