In the spring of 2013 a swarm of locusts around 120 million strong had devastated crops in Egypt for several days and was headed toward Israel. I will never forget seeing these locusts carried in on the wind, eating everything in their path. I sat in my car recounting the Exodus story and trying to imagine the swarms that overtook Egypt thousands of years ago. “Never before had there been such a plague of locusts, nor will there ever be again.” Ultimately the Israelites were delivered from the plagues and Egypt by the blood of the Lamb!
