About Troy
  • Education: I went to Rhema Bible training Center in Tulsa, OK.
  • Experience: I have been a youth pastor at my current church for nearly 5 years before I took on the role of Senior Pastor. In October, 2005 my wife and I was ordained with Team Thrust For The Nations and set in as Senior Pastors of Faith Christian Centre.
  • Family: I am 32 years old, I have been married to my wife (Kim) for 4 years now, and we have a 2 year old son named Josiah.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Well, there are a few. The 1st one is from Kenneth Hagin Jr. He wanted to give us the definition of what ministry was.. with pens on paper, eyes and ears wide open, he said it’s W O R K. All I have got to say is, it’s true. Also, my 1st Pastor told me when I told him that the Lord had called me to preach, he said if you always keep this system, you will never fail in ministry. 1) God 2) Spouse 3) Children 4) Ministry
  • Books that have had an impact: Why men hate going to church by David Murrow (sp?) That book really helped me see why men hate coming to church on Sunday. It helped me also understand more the needs and spiritual roles of men in the church.
  • Hobbies: I love reading, which is a God thing because I hated reading until I turned my life over to the Lord (Nov 99) I love spending time with my family. I like sports, both playing and watching. Working out is fiannly getting fun to do.
  • What I want on my tombstone: I plan to go in the rapture, but I would want this. To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord.
