• Sermon or series that made a difference: I love to listen to and study from Calvary Chapel pastors. Chuck Smith, Jon Courson, Skip Heitzig--to name a few.
• Family: I have a wife and three amazing kids.
• What my parents think of my sermons: They don't always agree with what I teach, but they are supportive.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She is very encouraging and supportive.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: If you just put the Scriptures in you, the Holy Spirit will bring them out.
• Books that have had an impact: Bible, Why Grace Changes Everything.
• Hobbies: Study (of course), sports, and music.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: We need God's grace!
• Something funny that happened while preaching: One of the churches that I pastored was very small and didn’t have much room for me to move around while speaking. I’d like to say that my funny incident was just one occurrence, but unfortunately it was a reoccurring thing. The congregation got great laughs from the fact that nearly every sermon I would at some point step backwards and bump into the cross that was hanging on the wall. I’d always catch it before it fell. At least I could say that I couldn't avoid the cross while preaching.
