Chip, Thanks for your message. You said in your message, "Prayer is not so much about changing God. It is about our being changed" Chip I agree with you, but it is so much more than that. How often in the New Testament did God allow his hand to be moved as his people prayed. God in his grace and love for us, within the confines of his will, allows his hand to be moved as we pray. Doesn''t that mean it''s possible to miss out on many of his blessings when we fail to pray? PJ
