Sermon or series that made a difference: The sermon that made a difference on my life was one that my Pastor preached on Procrastination. I knew a long time ago that the Lord had called me to preach but I was afraid, so I ran for a long time. I was afraid of what people would think of me and say about me. I am also very, very shy. Anyone who is close to me knows this. Know I will sing for you all day but at the aspect of speaking in front of crowds my hans would get all sweaty and my throat would get all dry. I tell you I would turn into a mess. Well anyway my Pastors text came from Jeremiah chapter 1. And he was focusing on the verse of not being afraid of thier faces. That sermon gave me the courage to stand up and speak boldly about the things of God. I thank him for the Change in me.
Family: I am 25 years old. I don’t have any children niether am I married. But I am a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ. My family is the best. I have a mother and father who supports me in everything I do and who are a prevelant part of this Ministry. I thank God for giving me them as parents. My Parents are a Joy and I love them very Much. They are the ones that instilled in me my need to have Jesus, because they always took me to church. I truly thank God for them. Not only them but my brothers as well. My Paul and Silas
Best advice given to me about preaching: The best advice that I was ever given about preaching was this
"When you preach make sure that you have studied the word. Make sure that you sermon is one that people can identify with. Make sure God is pleased at what you are saying and not to get caught up the the theatrics of preaching but be real for Christ.
Books that have had an impact: The Books that have impacted me are Rebecca Browns Books " He came to set the captives free, Vessel of Honor and another one that I can’t thingk of the name for right now. I think that she is a sensational writer. Her books are what pushed me into being Born again. Prepare for war that’s what it is. If you haven’t read any of her books you need to.
Another book that impacted my life was The Divine revealations of Hell.
Hobbies: My Hobbies include singing, reading , talking on the phone and laughing. I thank that people take life to seriously. I am not saying that I am wasteful with my time, but I do believe that just because you are a christian that shouldn’t make you stop laughing and having fun, as long as it is not ungodly.
Something funny that happened while preaching: Well one time right before I brought forth the word,I had to go to the bathroom. I was in such a hurry to get back upstairs that I didn’t realize that my skirt was caught in my stockings. Needless to say as I walked down to preach the word of God in the midst of the people. Someone kindly bought it to my attention, I was so embarrased.
What I want on my tombstone: A women who truly was in LOve with God
