I strongly disagree with the teaching that Jesus, being human, he could have been possibly skinned himself once or twice as part of his humanity. This is erroneous because the animal sacrifice is inspected by the priest for blemishes and once the animal is found to have one, it would be disqualified for use as sacrifice. Jesus could never be an acceptable sacrifice if he has lesions, scars or anything of that sort. He has to be perfect, both in physical (body, soul and spirit).
Dear Brother Dave thank you so much for the helpful messages .
Great message . thank you
I like to see and study sermon center site but some time it is hard for me to search. Can we have such facility to join ? Peter
Just wanted to say thanks for your contribution to sermon central. I pastor a church plant in south bend indiana, and this week I'm preaching on pursuit and the spiritual disciplines. your sermon "The Disciple’s Habits: Spiritual Disciplines" is so encouraging, and is a great outline for where our church is going. I'll be giving you credit this Sunday morning prior to leveraging portions of this great sermon. Blessings my friend in Christ on the other side of America! Keith
I appreciate the emphasis of life because for the believer death is a door mate for the believer to walk into the presence of the Lord.
