  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Success is only temporary and failure in not final.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: I resently preached a series of messages concerning marriage and divorce entitled "The Lord of the Rings". It was extremely well received. Our media ministry sold a large quanity of cassettes and CD’s to use as mail and hand out to people who have marriage problems.
  • Family: Married on Oct. 21, 1972 to Pandora Johnson and have been married for 34 years. We have no children.

  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She receives my preaching very well. Of all the people that listen to me on a weekly basis, she knows my personal life and preparation best, and she matters most.
