A lot of work hard instead of responding to God''s grace.
Rev. Falwell- A faithful man of God with a great vision for the time he served. We will miss him, God bless his family
REV. FRED APPLEGATE SAYS: I NEVER HAD THE PRIVILEDGE TO MEET DR. FALWELL, BUT I HEARD HIM MANY TIMES ON TV. HE WAS A BLESSING, AND A MAN OF PRINCIPAL. GOD GIVE US MORE DR. FALWELLS. AMEN
The great master preacher Paul once told the young preacher Titus, "In everything set them an example by doing what is right..." Titus 2:7 (NIV). In tribute to Dr. Jerry Falwell,
As I thought about how to honor Dr. Falwell this past Sunday, it occured to me that my vision of ministry was one I learned by watching him on his program and as an early student of LHBI. Dr. Falwell did not just preach agianst abortion--he founded a home for unwed mothers and then an adoption agency for the babies...he didn't just preach against alcohol and drugs...he founded a rehab camp for the addicts. In other words, he reached out to his community and made a difference. It is my prayer that I will be as fortunate as he...God bless the Falwell family and his legacy!
Jerry was a great hero of my
youth. I attended Liberty
for all my degrees. I met him on ocassion and found him to be very kind and personable. One of his greatest legacy's is Hugh Hefner's own admission that Jerry almost put him out of business in the 80's. God bless this great warrior's legacy.
I didn't agree with many things Jerry Falwell said, but one thing I can say for asurety, I believe he was indeed a man of God and that he "Finished Well"
Dr. Falwell was a great man. His tenacity, integrity, and vision was incredible and well worth emulating. Love him or hate him for his views, convictions and preferences- I like the way he did things, better than the way most don't.
