Great understandable, powerful and profound message. God bless you pastor.
Great sermon anointed by God and relevant to our world. Thanks, Pastor Joel, for preaching the WORD.
Brother, I encourage you to teach less for more!
I can taste the sweat that drips from my body ignoring the power of God that stands before me. I mean nothing to myself but to God I am light that shines brightly. I taste death and the smell makes me tremble inside. I am living a lie trying to please good and evil crawling as I smell my own soul burning. My worse thoughts are confirmed, I am dieing and this time I cannot wake up. I quickly reach out my hands and say God help me, let there be mercy on my soul. I start to feel around in my top right pocket and I find a small bible with a gold cross on the top. I open the small bible and I start to read psalm 130: 2 Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to my cry for help. I start to call out Gods name, please God what must I do in order to stay here, my family needs me. God speaks; I want you to speak my name and put my name above all names. I am your true father; your heart and your soul belong to me. Tears start to pour down my face and God wipes the tears from my eyes and saves me.
A very powerful message, Pastor Joel. This Assemblies of God pastor has gleaned much from your insight into this scripture. God bless you as you minister to the flock over which HE has made you overseer.
This is a wonderful sermon.

Glad to see there are still a few of us who are not afraid to preach election. Most other sermons on I Thess. 1 cover the entire chapter and avoid the election issue.
Your faithfulness to the Word is appreciated!
This helped me greatly. The beginning of Psalm 22 is about the cross but the end of Psalm 22 is more about the resurrection. This is a good Easter sermon from an often neglected Psalm!
