  • Education: I received my BA from Southwestern Conservative Baptist Bible Collage, Phoenix, AZ. I also have an Associate's Degree fro El Paso Community Collage and the US Army's Sergeant's Major Academy in El Paso, TX.
  • Experience: I retired from the US Army as a Sergeant Major after 26 years and two tours in Vietnam. I was associate Pastor at Deer Valley Baptist Church in Phoenix while attending Bible Collage. I accepted the call to Grace Baptist in 1991. I have remained ever since.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I want to point out that I am willing to admit that I take sermon help from where ever I can get it. I have used material from this site, from "The Preacher's Sermon and Outline Sermon Bible." from Leadership Ministries World Wide, Reference Bibles, Schofield Bibles, and any other I can find. As I want to give as complete a series as I can, I will include those plagiarized sermons and/or segments. My apologizes to those whom I may forget to credit in my presentation.
  • Family: I am married to Phyllis M (MK-PK), we have 4 children. Today we have 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the Word, Preach the Word, do not point fingers from the pulpit, Preach the Word, let the Holy Spirit point the finger. Dr. Leroy Thomas
  • Hobbies: I am a HO model railroading enthusiast.
  • What I want on my tombstone: God's loyal soldier
