,Thanks for the Sermon William. You have given the best description of what Christ was trying to get across about the children (IMHO). My memory of children is not that they were kind, giving, unambitious etc as is often said. They were quite the opposite. Great Sermon from beginning to end.

Sermon: Whose Image?
You have done an excellent presentation of this passage that puts Jesus' words in the proper perspective. Thank you for sharing it.
Timely and on target!

Well, this is kinder than many Protestant commentaries, but it "dances around" the full meaning of the text. It doesn''t really advance the discussion between Catholic and Protestant. I suggest further reading in some of Steven Ray''s writings, like "Upon This Rock." We do need more dialogue on this issue, especially in view of the problems involved with denominational splitting and leadership.

POWERFUL this sermon has a straight forward approach.Abortion is an evil in this world that kills the innocent and silences the mother spiritually if not reached by the Church.I add only that forgivness is obtainable for the physically living but spiritually dieing mother if she will call out to the Lord.
