FIRM IN FAITH, GENTLE IN PREACHING

How you act when someone does not listen? How do you respond when they believe to be right above God and His Word? Do you fight and argue with the person? If you do that, and has lost the battle.

Even though they won't listen, do not break your relationship with that person. Always leave the door open. People mature with time and circumstances. Anger is not a good counselor.

C. Pray for that person. Luke 6:28 says, "Bless them that curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." We have to love those who want to achieve as God loves us: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

Do you love God enough to leave their "shell" and reach out to others? Do you love mankind enough to let themselves be used by God to evangelize? Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9).

If we really want to reach the world for Christ, we must understand that nothing we did not "contend" the Word of God. We must not forget that one day we were fools and ignorant, and that if it were not for that good and patient person who preached to us, we would not be here. Let us ask God to mold our character and speak with humility and love about the Good News of Salvation. There are times of silence, preaching with good deeds, there is time to "lose" an argument to show love and patience and the aggressor. Sometimes "losing" really lets you "win more." Let us be firm in our faith, but gentle in our preaching.

(English translation follows)
¿De dónde viene el carácter? ¿Cómo llega a nosotros?

TRANSLATION:
Where does character come from? How does it reach us?

Remember the picture of the man buying a roast chicken. He realized that, instead of a chicken, the store gave the man the day's profits. His girlfriend was surprised when the man decided to return the money. So when he got to the store, the manager thanked him, wanting to call the newspaper to put his picture on the front page, saying: "You're a hero, I have not known a man so honest in my life."

To the manager's amazement, the man answered, "No, no, do not do this!" Then he approached the manager and said with a whisper, "You see, the woman I was with is married to another person."

Ultimately it was not as honest as we thought. Although the man did a good thing, he was not living in integrity nor character.
