Cling To The Rock (Spanish And English)

CLING TO THE ROCK
Escuché la historia de un barco que naufragó. Un tripulante pudo salvarse subiendo a una roca que inconmovible se oponía al embate de las olas. Temblando el pobre náufrago se aferró a la misma. Al poco tiempo fue rescatado de este lugar por otro barco que pasaba. Los marineros le preguntaron al náufrago si no había tenido miedo sobre esta roca. Él contestó: - Sí, yo temblaba de miedo, ¡pero la roca no!
Esta es la realidad de los creyentes en un mundo tempestuoso y difícil de enfrentar. Nos hace temblar, pero nuestra Roca que es Cristo, es la roca inconmovible de los siglos. El que se aferra a esta "Roca", jamás será defraudado. (Mateo 11:28). Venid a mí todos los que estáis trabajados y cargados, y yo os haré descansar.
TRANSLATION
I heard the story of a boat that sank. One crewman was able to escape by swimming to a huge rock that was immovable against the waves. Trembling, the poor crewman clung to it.
Soon the crewman was rescued by another passing boat. The sailors asked him if the crewman was afraid while hanging on to the rock. He replied: "Yes, I trembled with fear, but the rock didn't!"
This is the reality of believers in a world that is tempestuous and difficult to tackle. It makes us tremble, but our Rock that is Christ is the unshakable rock the centuries. Anyone who clings to this "Rock" will never be disappointed. (Matthew 11:28). "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
