AVOIDING SALES
The Houston Chronicle, Sept. 25, 1995 records the following quote.
As a man sat contemplating the impending expenses of Christmas, his wife burst through the door with an armload of packages. She gleefully remarked, "You told me to stay away from all of those sales so I bought everything at full price."
