If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic,
refuse bitterness, or refuse self-pity...
THEN GOD CAN TURN THINGS AROUND.
THE ADVERSITIES THAT COME ALONG TO BURY US USUALLY HAVE WITHIN THEM THE POTENTIAL TO BENEFIT AND BLESS US!

Something is radically wrong with homes today. The family is under fire and home life is disintegrating. Year by year the stress put on marriages grows greater. In 1870 there was one divorce for every 34 marriages. By 1900 it was one in five, and by 1950 it was one in three. In the past few years there has been virtually one divorce for every two marriages.

Did you know Babe Ruth hit 851 home runs?
Did you know Babe Ruth stuck out 1330 times?
This is almost two strike outs for every homerun?
But were records for many years... but Babe is known because he tried.

Forest Gump’s momma said, “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get.” Anybody know the secret code for a box of See’s candy? I can figure out the ones with the nuts and the nougat, but crème fillings are always a mystery to me. Now if I made the chocolates and placed them in the box, then I might know the answer. That’s why God can give the gift of purpose. He made us. He placed us in this world. He knows what the future holds, and He knows what our lives are becoming.

FAD OR FOLLOWER?

I was looking at a list of some fads from the 1990's. Among them were: spandex shorts, Pokemon, Grunge music and fashion, The Macarena, Bowl cut, What would Jesus do?, Pogs, Polly Pocket Toys, and Tickle Me Elmo.

In that list, only one fad had long-term bearing, "What Would Jesus Do?" But that questi...
