Two warships with the largest full-load displacement in the world are the US Navy aircraft carriers. The USS Nimitz and Dwight D. Eisenhower weigh about 91,400 tons. They are 1,092 feet in length overall and have a speed well in excess of 30 knots with their nuclear-powered 280,000 horse power reactors. Their complement is 6,100 men and women. The total cost of the Eisenhower commissioned on October 18, 1977 exceeded $2 billion excluding the more than 90 plus aircraft carried. As immense as these two ships are they are both turned by one man at the helm controlling a rudder 1/1000th the size of the ship. A tiny rudder controls the course of these great ships.

On January 20, 1953, Dwight Eisenhower, his wife, family, and Cabinet members went to the National Presbyterian Church before his inauguration as 34th president.
After the service, Ike went back to the hotel suite to write a prayer that he would read during the inauguration ceremonies.
He wrote: “Almighty God, give us, we pray thee, power to discern right from wrong, and allow our words and actions to be governed thereby and by the laws of this land. Especially we pray that our concern shall be for all the people, regardless of station, race, or calling, so that all may work for the good of our beloved country and thy glory. Amen.”

How do I know we need women? According to the United Nation's statistics: "Women constitute over 50 percent of the world's population. But women do three-fourths of the world's work, receive one-tenth of the world's salaries, and own one one-hundredth of the world's land."

Women are major players in keeping the world going, but get less than their share of the compensation. Yet, they keep going, because they are not doing it for the sake of monetary reward, but out of the satisfaction of being responsible. One bumper sticker read: "Real women don't have hot flashes, they have power surges." I think that must be true.

We are not told that Jesus ever taught his disciples how to preach, but he taught them how to pray. He wanted them to have power with God; then He knew they would have power ...

WHY PRAY? PRAYER HAS REAL POWER!
A. The atomic bomb is a very powerful weapon.
Its great explosive force comes from a sudden release of nuclear energy through fission.
B. On August 6, 1945 the USA dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima,
and three days later on Nagasaki, Japan.
C. These two atomic bombs dropped over Japan killed around 92,000 people, and brought an end to World War II, now talk about power?
That is great power.
D. That was great power, but God has more power than that. In one prayer a hopeless King Hezekiah prayed over Jerusalem’s
entrapment, God sent one angel and killed 185,000 of the enemy!

In 1982, Susan G, Komen lay in bed, dying of breast cancer. Her sister, Nancy Brinker, promised her dying sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Since that organization was founded they have donated more than $1 Billion toward breast cancer research and treatment. On June 2 of this year, more than 50,000 people ran in Washington DC, in the race for the cure. Each, running the race for the cure. The majority of them, running the race to help others. Can we do any less?
My friends, you are called to run the race for the same reason. You are running the race for others. Don’t settle for second best. Strive to win.

In fact there are 322 specific prophecies in the OT about Jesus Christ and many of these prophecies have already been fulfilled and documented in the NT of the Bible. This might not seem much too you, but I want you to get your head around this fact.

If only 8 prophecies were fulfilled the likelihood of that is 1in 10 to the 17th power.

A simple way to understand this would be to say imagine having over a quintillion chocolate chip cookies covering the entire breath of the United Kingdom 2 ft deep. Then take one choc chip cookie take all the choc bits out and toss it back into the cookies – then stir it all up – then blindfold yourself and walk from Lands end to John a groats, stopping once to pick up a single cookie. The chances of you picking the choc less chip cookie 1in 10 to the 17th power Its unthinkable and its the same as just one person fulfilling 8 prophecies

But remember Jesus didn’t fulfil just 8 prophecies in one lifetime he fulfilled 322 recorded and 29 of them in one day. That is a fact!

Scripture:

THE CHANCE OF FULFILLED PROPHECHY

The Old Testament contains over 300 references to the Messiah that were fulfilled in Jesus. What chance did Jesus or any other man have of fulfilling these prophecies? The mathematical laws of probability can give us a clue.

In his book Evidence That Demands A Verdict, Josh McDowell mentions the work of the mathematician, Peter Stoner, on just eight of the 300 prophecies: "We find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is one in ten (to the seventeenth power). That would be one in 100,000,000, 000,000,000.

In order to help us comprehend this staggering probability, Stoner illustrates it by supposing that we take ten (seventeenth power) silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he w...

We read about murder and our reaction is, “Oh, of course murder is bad.” We live in a very civilized nation. We have all kinds of social edicts driving us. We learn not to say certain things. We learn not to do certain things that would offend each. But we are one of the most murderous societies that have ever existed. We have simply legislated it; we have taken the “edge” off killing.

One of Saddam’s favorite sayings was a quote from Stalin, “If there is a person, then there is a problem. If there is no person, then there is no problem.”

In the last 34 years, Americans have murdered 16.1% of our population.
In the 23 years of power Saddam only murdered 10% of the population of Iraq.

We murder nearly 25% of all conceived babies in the US and 30% of all conceived babies in the world.

• This perversion hit close to home this last week. My Uncle who I was told was a Mason died this week.
• With close to 34,000 lodges around the globe and a membership numbering upwards of 6 million, it is obvious why the Encyclopedia Britannica would dub Freemasonry as the largest world-wide secret society.
• You wont have to go far to find a car plague or license plate, or lodge.

There are many reasons why Freemasonry is a false religion:
1. Freemasonry prays to a false god.
Freemasonry calls God “The Great Architect of the Universe.” This is the Freemason’s special name for God, because He is universal. He belongs to all men regardless of their religious persuasion. All wise men acknowledge His authority. In his private devotions a Mason will pray to Jehovah, Mohammed, Allah, Jesus, or the Deity of his choice. In a Masonic Lodge, however, the Mason will find the name of his Deity within the Great Architect of the Universe.

Allen E. Roberts, The Craft and Its Symbols: Opening the Door to Masonic Symbolism (Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply Co., 1974)

2. Freemasonry claims its teachings are superior to the Bible.
From the Encyclopedia of Masonry in the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Dallas: “The Bible is properly called a greater light of Masonry…The Bible is used among Masons as symbol of the will of God, however it may be expressed, and therefore, whatever to any people expresses that will, may be used as a substitute for the Bible in the Masonic Lodge. Thus, in a lodge consisting entirely of Jews the Old Testament alone may be placed upon the altar, and Turkish Masons make use of the Koran.

3. Freemasonry claims their teachings are revelatory light, (a revelation from God.)
But the Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. There is no other light.

4. Freemasonry teaches a way to heaven void of Jesus
Acts 4:11-12 “This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

5. Freemasonry teachings are opposite of Jesus’.
Opposite the Great commission (Secrets as opposed to “preach”)
Opposite of loving one another (secrets are to be kept from ALL non-masons, including spouse.)

6. Masons take blasphemous oaths (Lodges Examined, Rice / Page 21)
To keep the secret teachings hidden (against their own lives)
Commit to breaking the law to hide each others crimes.

Matthew 12:36-37 “But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Some may say, “It just a club that does good things for people.”

“The Mason who wears the Masonic “white lambskin apron” given to him during the first degree is “reminded of that purity of life and conduct so essentially necessary to his gaining admission into the Celestial Lodge above, where the Supreme Architect of the Universe presides.”
Official Cipher [ritual] (Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, 1989), 34.
Mason Carl Claudy, “Freemasonry gives to a man a well-spent life, and assurance of a glorious immortality.”

Colossians 1:16-20 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; 20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”

Jesus will set you free / But you must break ties from false religion / (Lodges Examined, Rice / Page 79)
