Too often, we have a tendency to stare up into the clouds waiting for Jesus to doing something amazing when the whole time He wants to be doing amazing things through us.
Over the last few months we have learned a lot from Nehemiah and the Israelites as they rebuilt the Jerusalem wall and reestablished the city. We spend so much time preparing in life for many different things. Sports, getting dressed, going to bed, school, etc. After Jesus ascended to Heaven, the disciples went back to Jerusalem to prepare for the coming of the Spirit. Why don’t we prepare to be

3. The Holy Unscheduled And Uncomfortable Spirit

Often time we approach God and the Holy Spirit the way we do a doctor’s appointment. We pencil him in when it is convenient for us. That is not how God works though. He works on His time and he is often uncomfortable.
In the book of Luke, we find an interesting dialogue between Jesus and a few men as they make their way to Jerusalem. 4. Big Questions

When the spirit of God begins to move in our lives, sometimes we end up getting ahead of God which creates some pretty big questions.
Up until this point, when it came to performing miracles, it had been the Jesus show. 5. There Is No God Like Our God

As we live our lives we need to remember who it is that we are calling out to and in relationship with. Nothing else even comes close to matching the God that we know!
Since it’s been a few weeks since we have looked at Acts together I want to quickly recap what has been happening to put everything in context.
