2. A Hope That Never Dies

What is the result of this resurrection? What difference does it make to us? The "new birth" results in a living hope. This living hope is based on the living resurrected Christ.

3. Witnessed Signs

At the moment of the Messiah’s death, God provided three miraculous signs. Matthew alone records all the supernatural events that accompany Jesus’ death. He aslo tells us of some of the people who witness the event & how some of them were affected.

4. The Triumphal Entry

Jesus, the Passover Lamb, heads into Jerusalem, where He initiates a massive public demonstration as He offers Himself to be King of Israel. This event is the inauguration of the Prince of Peace as King of kings.

Having heard & observed, these Gentiles were attracted or drawn to Jesus & they wanted to believe in Him, they wanted to "know" Him. Jesus therefore challenges them & us - to die that we might live

Their hope seemed lost, but a new dawn, the dawn of a new day was coming and renewal and hope was in the wings of this new sun rise. The Light of new age, the hope of a new covenant was rising with this new day.
