Isaiah prophesied that Yahweh would send a chosen Servant. This Servant would be empowered by God’s Spirit not only to fulfill His covenant promises, He will be the covenant between God and man Himself.

2. Covenant Restoration

The Servant’s great task is establishing a way for people to come to God. The prophecy indicates the wider fuller redemption & the true return of the real captives. These promises find fulfilment in the experiences of souls on their journey back to God

3. The Suffering Servant's Trust

The 3rd Servant Sermon teaches that obedient & faithful life is centered on obeying God’s Word. Through all the darkness & suffering the Servant holds to God’s trustworthiness. Then this Servant invites God’s disciples to trust God & walk in His Word.

4. Our Despised Friend

People refused to heed the Servant of the Lord or His message & for that reason did not experience the power of His arm. For it is through heeding the message that the mighty arm of the Lord brings salvation, to believer & lost alike.

5. Punished For You And Me

The deliverance for all people comes by the substitutionary suffering of the Servant. He suffered in the place of sinful people, so that they do not need to experience the mandated eternal consequences for their sins. A restoration of relationship with G

6. The Suffering Servant

The Servant is not a helpless victim of circumstance, but One who in His submissiveness & innocence fulfills the greater purposes of God. Thus in the end He will prosper & be victorious, for His vicarious suffering is God’s plan to accomplish His purpose

7. The Suffering Savior Becomes The Rewarded Redeemer

Christ’s crucifixation brought about more than anguish to His soul. It openned the doorway to Heaven, where He returned victorious over sin, death & hell. He is raised on high & ready to share His victory & its glorious blessings with all who will follow
