Even God rested;
WE TALKING ABOUT Finding rest in the finished work of Calvary,and receiving CHRISTS righteous as your righteous,is the true rest Jesus is speaking about.

righteous.
it says
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
1: Jehovah Raphad
(to prepare a bed) The Lord who prepares my resting place”.
Because of our sinful nature we struggle to find Gods true rest which is found only in Jesus.
One aspect of a shepherd is to provide a safe place of rest for the sheep.
Raphad – a primitive root; to find rest, to refresh: to make comfortable, to make and find
[a bed].
There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger;
neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
The sin issue brought restlessness to mankind
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
2: Jehovah Nahal (to lead gently on)
“The Lord who leads me gently” Nahal – i.e.to flow gently on, and to protect, sustain: --carry, feed, guide, and lead (gently, on).
He restoreth my soul.
3: Jehovah Shalam (restorer)
The Lord my Restorer
Shalam – (Hebrew) a primitive root meaning - to be safe in (mind, body,); figuratively to make me complete; to make amends, to restore completely;to repay; to prosper; recompense;make restitution , to reward.
1: Why is God finding me a resting place first.Because without resting in his righteous you will never make it.
2: Then leading me on gently,
3: Then restoring me,
4: WHY ALL THIS !!! Because his desire is to lead me to his righteous for his name sake WOW!!!
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
4: Jehovah Tsidkenu (Righteousness). The Lord is my Righteousness.
Portrays the Lord as the means of our righteousness.The new testament calls us the righteous of God in Christ Jesus.

In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, the Lord our Righteousness.
Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall:
for the man (BOAZ)will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
What thing BOAZ wants to finish He wants Ruth to be his legal bride,Just how the church is CHRISTS LEGAL BRIDE and Christ did not rest until he gave himself for the church.
And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.
BOAZ MEANS IN HIM IS STRENGH.
1: ELIMELECHS( MY GOD IS KING)AND 2: ALL THAT WAS CHILION(pining and wasting away)
3: AND MAHLON(SICKLY),FROM THE HAND OF NAOMI.
4: Ruth a penniless widow
WHAT IS BOAZ BUYING BACK OR REDEEMING;
HE IS BUYING THE LAND OF
1: ELIMELELECH (MY GOD IS KING)
2: CHILION; PINING AND WAST AWAY,
3: MAHLON ; AND SICKNESS AND POVERTY,doesn't seem like a good buy on paper.BUT GUESS WHAT CAME OUT THAT SAME TRANSACTION JESUS CAME.
BOAZ,OBED,JESSE,DAVID,JESUS,WOW WOW WOW.
2: IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WE ARE ENCOURAGE TO SEEK GODS REST WHICH IS FOUND IN JESUS
JESUS SAYS
28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Jesus wants his children to find rest in him
