Sermon: A NEW BEGINNING!

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ KJV

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

INTRODUCTION:-

Everything that has a beginning must have an end. The only reason why God has no end is becos He has no beginning.

Your problem that has a beginning must have an end Mark5:35-44.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

:- A woman sick for 18yrs, in John 9:1-7 man born blind. Problem from birth. The good news is that if you can trace the beginning of your problem an end has come.

John 5:2-9 man by pool 38yrs. Tried to get healing he failed and kept on failing.

One day something new happened. Expected an angel to come and assist him, but God showed up.

In 2Kings4:1-7 a widow had known poverty all life but in a single day poverty came to an end.

Mk5:1-15 a man was possessed by a legion of demons, no one thought there will be a new beginning or any beginning at all and left him to his problems. He was the forgotten talk of the town. Got a visitor from heaven, story changed. Everything that has a beginning must have an end.

When we talk about "A New Beginning", some do not want it. A new thing is always better than old. A new car will always be better than an old one. Light to the old world was new and God himself saw the new thing light and said it was good. Up is better than down, just ask someone who has experienced both.

Some have become so used to suffering that an idea of something new is frightening. Full better than empty. Progress than stagnation.

What they planned for you for disgrace will make you experience amazing grace.

However for new to begin, old must end. Be willing to let the old go.

Genesis 2:34-38 the Angel said something, God also said something to Abraham you shall no more be Abram also Sarai.

You will get a change of name here today. Bible say if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature. Your thinking, your horizon must change.

If you think poverty will get you to heaven, think again. Salvation deciding factor. God does not use sickness to train you or keep you in check. By His stripes you are healed. Can do it now. No gain delaying your miracles.

But more importantly . Make up your mind and be ready for something new. God will not force something new on you because for new to endure the separation from the old must be total.

In Exodus14:31-38 Moses said the enemies you see tonight .......... this is a new beginning. By the next day they saw them no more.

When we talk about enemies, for some that enemy is inside you so you must be ready for the new thing and separation from the old. This new thing will cause you to work harder. New jobs, positions which will need harder work.

Once you lay your hands on the plough...... Luke 9:52, God says u cannot look back once hand on plough. The barren says I want twins and their trouble starts, feeding, crying etc. Which one is better the twins that will not let you sleep or barrenness.

. Ephesians 4:17-22 tells us before u can put on the new man you must put off the old man. Blind Barthemeus moment called put off the old ones and he never put them on again. Get ready to put off garment of shame, cheating, lying, stealing, fighting etc. Why, because you

will come under new management.

If you are in Christ you qualify for new things like healing because by His stripes you are healed, qualify for deliverance , promotion because if I be lifted up I will draw men to me. Then why don't I get what I am qualified for. Because you do not ask.
