Summary: Praises for the attributes of God as the Most High God to my Portion

385. Most High God- I praise you Lord that you are the God who is over all. David wrote, “They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.” (Psa. 78:35)

386. Mother – I praise you for having the qualities of a loving, nurturing Mother. “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isa 49:15) As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” (Isa. 66:13)

387. Motivator – I praise you God for stimulating me to do my best even when I am tired, discouraged and pressured. Paul wrote, “Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way; in great endurance; in troubles, hardships, and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left, through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report…sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.” (2 Cor. 6:4-10) Thank you Lord for your consistent inspiration to press on for the upward call of God in Christ.

388. Mover of People to Action – I praise you Lord that you know how to move each person to do your will. “The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord upon me.” (Ezek. 3:14)

389. Multiplier – I praise you Lord for promising to increase your kingdom and righteousness through us. You told Jeremiah, “From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will multiply them and they will not be diminished. I will also honor them and they will not be disdained.” (Jer. 30:19)

390. Mystery (Secret Things) Revealer in Christ – I praise you Lord that you have revealed so many secret things to me through Christ. “Although I am less than the least of all God’s people, this grace was given to me; to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.” (Eph 3:8)

391. Name Above Every Name – I praise you Lord for having an identity that supersedes all others. Paul wrote, “Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.” (Phil. 2:9) Nebuchadnezzzar; praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all His ways are just. And those who walk in pride He is able to humble.” (Dan. 4:37)

392. Navigator – I praise you Lord for knowing how to steer me through the troubled waters of life. David wrote, “He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” (Psa. 23:3,4)

393. Need Supplier – I praise you God for promising to supply us with whatever is essential to do your will. “My God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)

394. No Darkness in God’s Presence – I praise you Lord for being full of light and not tolerating any darkness in your presence. Paul wrote, “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He love.” (Col. 1:12,13)

395. Noble - I praise you Lord for being free from pettiness or meanness since you are magnanimous in all ways. “Whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, lovely and praiseworthy, let your mind dwell on these things.” (Phil. 4:8)

396. Obedience Oriented Instruction – I praise you Lord for giving us a pattern of obedience-oriented education. Jesus said, “Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matt. 28:20)

397. Objective – I praise you Lord for having firm goals that help us concentrate on Kingdom priorities instead of our subjective feelings. Jesus said, “Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life… but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matt. 6:25,33)

398. Offensive Instead of Defensive – I praise you Lord for fighting for me as I seek your kingdom and righteousness. (Matt. 6:33) Thank you for your promise, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Ex. 14:14) I give homage to your name for enabling me to will and to do your good will. (Phil. 2:13,14)
