IV. TEXT:

Psalms 32:1-2 (Amplified Bible)

[A Psalm of David.] A skillful song, or a didactic or reflective poem. BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Happiness came from our knowledge that all our sins in this lifetime are all forgiven by the LAMB of GOD.

C. Purpose: for praise and worship, either private or publicly done

D. To whom written: sometimes to GOD, sometimes to author himself

E. Main themes: prayer and praise

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Blessed those who are forgiven from sin

"BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him"

1. Blessed are someone to be envied. You don't have any money, no car, your house can only fit you, your wife and your son but you are happy from within, Someone makes you happy, not those seen by the naked eye but that Someone is Invisible who lives from within and inside of you.

Psalms 40:4 (Amplified Bible)

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who makes the Lord his refuge and trust, and turns not to the proud or to followers of false gods.

Psalms 84:12 (Amplified Bible)

O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

On the other hand, people with latest cars, latest gadgets and their house is as huge as the whitehouse, seem to be always so busy, neglecting their families and earning more money for themselves but is robbed of happiness.

B. Forgotten and forgiven

"whose sin is covered"

Romans 4:6-8 (Amplified Bible)

Thus David congratulates the man and pronounces a blessing on him to whom God credits righteousness apart from the works he does:

Blessed and happy and to be envied are those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried.

Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him.

GOD is our covering, the blood of JESUS CHRIST covers over our sins.

Ephesians 2:13 (Amplified Bible)

But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near.

Hebrews 9:14 (Amplified Bible)

How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

C. Blessed those who are not judged

"Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity"

Psalms 85:2 (Amplified Bible)

You have forgiven and taken away the iniquity of Your people, You have covered all their sin. Selah [pause, and calmly realize what that means]!

Sin is no longer fabricated (imputed) in us but life of GOD flowing thru us.

D. Blessed those that did not commit any sin and never cheated

"in whose spirit there is no deceit"

Acts 13:38-39 (Amplified Bible)

So let it be clearly known and understood by you, brethren, that through this Man forgiveness and removal of sins is now proclaimed to you;

And that through Him everyone who believes [who acknowledges Jesus as his Savior and devotes himself to Him] is absolved (cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and freed by the Law of Moses and given right standing with God.

No more deceit found in us because of the finished work of the LORD JESUS CHRIST on the cross of Calvary that have cleansed from dead works of darkness and now all our works are from Him.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Happiness came from our knowledge that all our sins in this lifetime are all forgiven by the LAMB of GOD.
