BUILDING A SOLID FOUNDATION
INTRODUCTION

The term foundation has been borrowed from the language of building and architecture. It refers to the very first thing a builder does before erecting the building -- he prepares a solid and stable support structure. Since the foundation bears the weight of the entire structure, it must be done well. More than one building has later sagged or even fallen because of a faulty foundation, the taller the building the deeper the foundation.
Spiritually speaking, the foundation is the basis of Christian doctrine and experience, and the two are never separate. Yes the foundation is the basis of Christian doctrine and experience, which all future development depends. Its like the instruction in the ABCs -- without which reading and writing would not be possible

We discover that the storms of life -- will reveal the true quality of one’s character. As Moses said in Numbers 32:23 “...your sins will find you out.”
We must do what Jesus says. Those who do what Jesus said would be those who withstand the storms of life. They will withstand the storms of life because their lives, their houses, their building, their sanitary are built upon the rock [a solid foundation].

(VS.8) CURSING - WHEN WE CULIVATE OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD (SIN). APOSTASICAL ATTITUDES
