Choose Life Deuteronomy 30:19NASB

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

Verse 19 again from the TM Bible- I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live.

Life is full of choices. In-fact, living a godly life is a moment by moment choice. God speaks through Moses, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today...”

Remember Hebrews 12:1-2NLT Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Those pioneers of faith are our examples. Persecution, assaults, mistreatment, affliction and even death; however, they kept the faith.

Verse 19b ...I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse.

Every person choses their own destiny; God placed this law in motion, and you will receive your inheritance by faith.

Genesis 8:22NLT As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”

We talked Wednesday night about 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

I told you that because of Christ, all of the promises of the OT and NT are yours. (Say, “Im favored, Im blessed!”)

However. Say however. “If you have knowledge of all these many blessings and you chose cursing and death you will receive all the many plagues of the OT and New.

Say, “Seed time and harvest!”

Listen to Deuteronomy 30:15NKJ “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

Notice, God set these things before you! (“See, I have set before...”)

Thank God this isn’t- “Let’s Make A Deal- Door number 1, 2 or 3?”

Challenges, hard times, mixed with emotional turmoil become just events that soon pass.

Challenges teach the believer to wait. Isaiah 40:31NLT But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Life and blessings will offer you a new platform of faith, and love that can become the norm.

Proverbs 10:22NLT The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
