V. HE IS COMING AGAIN A SECOND TIME FOR JUDGMENT.

Even Christians may think that He delays His coming (Rev. 6:10), but He will surely come quickly (Rev. 22:16-21).

(Rev 6:10 NIV) They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy
and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"

(Rev 22:16 NIV) "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for
the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning
Star."
(Rev 22:17 NIV) The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears
say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take
the free gift of the water of life.
(Rev 22:18 NIV) I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this
book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described
in this book.
(Rev 22:19 NIV) And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God
will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city,
which are described in this book.
(Rev 22:20 NIV) He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
(Rev 22:21 NIV) The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.


VI. HE WILL RAISE ALL THE DEFENDANTS SO THAT THEY CAN BE JUDGED. THERE WILL BE NO ESCAPE FOR UNBELIEVERS (John 5:21,25,28-29).

(John 5:21 NIV) For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life,
even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.

(John 5:25 NIV) I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when
the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.

(John 5:28 NIV) "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who
are in their graves will hear his voice
(John 5:29 NIV) and come out--those who have done good will rise to live, and
those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.









VII. HE WILL NEED NO WITNESSES FOR THE DEFENDANTS, FOR HE KNOWS THEM THROUGH AND THROUGH.

1. Positively

a. Peter John 1:40-42

(John 1:40 NIV) Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.
(John 1:41 NIV) The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and
tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ).
(John 1:42 NIV) And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "You
are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is
Peter).

b. Nathanael John 1:43-51

(John 1:43 NIV) The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding
Philip, he said to him, "Follow me."
(John 1:44 NIV) Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.
(John 1:45 NIV) Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one
Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote--Jesus of
Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
(John 1:46 NIV) "Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked.
"Come and see," said Philip.
(John 1:47 NIV) When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, "Here is
a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false."
(John 1:48 NIV) "How do you know me?" Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, "I saw
you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip
