119:112 I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, even to the end.

Proverbs 4:20 (Amplified Bible)

4:20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.

Matthew 11:28 (Amplified Bible)

11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

John 6:37 (Amplified Bible)

6:37 All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me].

John 6:44-45 (Amplified Bible)

6:44 No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.

6:45 It is written in [the book of] the Prophets, And they shall all be taught of God [have Him in person for their Teacher]. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me—

John 7:37 (Amplified Bible)

7:37 Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!

The LORD needs one thing from us - our undivided attention, we can't have LOVE of JESUS if our attention is still in this world. JESUS needs BOTH ears - the left and the right ear to hear His WORDS. We can't serve the LORD with our left ear and serve the world with the right ear.

1 John 2:15 (Amplified Bible)

2:15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.

Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)

12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 6:24 (Amplified Bible)

6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).

B. Everlasting love and mercy promised to David is the same covenant promised to us

"and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David"

Hebrews 13:20 (Amplified Bible)

13:20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

Acts 13:34 (Amplified Bible)

13:34 And as to His having raised Him from among the dead, now no more to return to [undergo] putrefaction and dissolution [of the grave], He spoke in this way, I will fulfill and give to you the holy and sure mercy and blessings [that were promised and assured] to David.
