Summary: The shadow of the Almighty speaks of His protection, guidance and security. When you pray and continuously abide in the Lord’s presence, He promised you His power and guidance

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God; in Him will I trust” (Psalms 91:1-2)

“ Fear thou not; for I am with thee;be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing and they that strive with thee shall perish---for I, the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand , saying unto thee, fear not,I will help thee”

(Isaiah 41:10-13)

The shadow of the Almighty speaks of His protection, guidance and security. When you pray and continuously abide in the Lord’s presence, He promised you His power and guidance. You will see the goodness of God in a wonderful way because you dwell in the secret place of the Most High. God’s promises will be real to you only when you know how to communicate or pray to Him. He is your refuge and fortress. So you should trust Him only. Divine guidance comes as a result of effective prayer. You should pray so that the Lord shall direct your footsteps and show you the better direction in life.

Bible says; “ The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delighteth in His way” (Psalm 37:23)

“If the Lord delights in a man's way,He makes his steps firm” (NIV)

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way”. (BBE)

Where are you going in life?

This question can be answered when you pray. Again, you can win your battles when you begin to ask the Lord for His guidance in your life. When you reject Him and engage in the business outside His will, you cannot have any success or blessing. But when you seek His face daily for His guidance, then He can say to you “Fear not”. He delights in you.

David was an enquiry specialist. He never engaged in any business, undertaking or battle without inquiring from the Lord. This gave him victory in the presence of his enemies. He had testimonies. The Lord directed and guided His affairs time without number and took control of every of his situation. He became a man after God’s own heart. When you know how to inquire of the Lord, you shall receive His Divine guidance.

Remember, when the Lord guides you, you are perfectly covered by His power and strength.

In Isaiah 41:10-13, He promised and said;

• Fear not (in any situation) for He is with you

• Do not be dismayed for He is your God

• He will strengthen you always

• He will help you always

• He will uphold you with His right hand of His righteousness

• He will help you to defeat your enemies

• He will continue to help your right hand saying “fear not”
