I. Fear Not

This the Word Of The Lord - a phrase often times connected to a prophetic message or a vision from the Lord, only the Lord can say these things to a human. When this is mentioned, it always happens, it always comes to pass. Fear here came from the Hebrew word: "yare" which means to frighten, to afraid, terrible. The first and greatest enemy to conquer is fear. There's nothing to fear but fear itself. Usually what you fear will happen to you, so don't fear, don't be afraid for the Lord will always be with us. Our fears and reasons to fear are all irrelevant when God is with us. Remember this is a command, what makes us stronger and braver is we know who commands it, and He's Faithful, He will also do it.

Genesis 26:24 That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid; I am with you. I will bless you and give you many descendants because of my promise to my servant Abraham." (GNB)

Exodus 14:13 Moses answered, "Don't be afraid! Stand your ground, and you will see what the LORD will do to save you today; you will never see these Egyptians again. (GNB)

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be determined and confident. Do not be afraid of them. Your God, the LORD himself, will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you." (GNB)

1Chronicles 28:20 David also said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and brave and finish this work. Don't be afraid, because the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will help you until all the work is finished. He will not leave you. You will build the LORD'S Temple.

Isaiah 41:10 Don't worry--I am with you. Don't be afraid--I am your God. I will make you strong. I will help you. I will support you with my right hand that brings victory.

Daniel 10:12 Then the man in the vision started talking again. He said, "Daniel, do not be afraid. From the very first day you decided to get wisdom and to be humble in front of God, he has been listening to your prayers. I came to you because you have been praying.

Matthew 28:5 The angel said to the women, "Don't be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, the one who was killed on the cross.

II. God Is Our Shield

God is not only our Powerful God but also our Shield. Think of it, our very God will be our protection, He will never change, He will never let us down. People will let us down, that's the way they are, they are people, they fail, I may fail you several times, but God will never fail, and He will never fail those who trust in Him for protection. The word "shield" here came from the Hebrew word "maw-gane" which means a buckler (a small shield), scaly hide of the crocodile which is a very strong shield, which means God is our very strong protector defending us from all our enemies, no matter what close deadly move they make against us, we are all shielded againts it. God and His Words are our shield, buckler and protection from all our enemies.

Deuteronomy 33:29 Israel, you are blessed. No other nation is like you. The LORD saved you. He is like a strong shield protecting you. He is like a powerful sword. Your enemies will be afraid of you, and you will put your foot on their backs!" (ERV)

Psalms 5:12 LORD, when you bless good people, you surround them with your love, like a large shield that protects them. (ERV)

Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my Rock, my fortress, my place of safety. He is my God, the Rock I run to for protection. He is my shield; by his power I am saved. He is my hiding place high in the hills. (ERV)

Psalms 91:4 You can go to him for protection. He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies. You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield. (ERV)

Psalms 119:114 Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word. (ASV)

Psalms 119:114 You are my place of safety and my shield. Your word is my only hope. (CEV)

III. Our Reward Is Very Great

The word "reward" came from the Hebrew word "saw-kawr" which means payment of contract, concretely salary, fare, maintenance, compensation, benefit, price, wages, worth. A word "salary" is very sure, you expect on every 15th and end of the month, depending on your company, but it will sure come for you are waiting on it, and your life's worth is expecting it to come, The Lord's rewards is far more better and more sure, it will come and it will be very huge. This I said because God's rewards are not just mere money, but it included prosperity of our spirit, soul and body.
